for real yo i was raised in the bronx from 3 months on up but i always loved the south ever since the geto boys in 91 and ugk in 92…i remember i first saw some excerpts from this dvd on cable back in 2004 and it took me forever to find the dvd…i love every second of this documentary yo especially how it shows rappers just livin…eatin..smokin …makin food and every rapper on here has their roots in the underground..none were pop stars…none were watered down..though some have become known worldwide…specifically t.i, pitbull. and cee lo but they still never forgot they roots…there aint a doubt about it ..maybe my favorite hip hop documentary of all time and if not mos def in the top 3 with beef and the mc..and mos def one of the greatest documentaries ever made. period.
