Eight O’Clock Ground Coffee, The Original, 42 Ounce (Packaging May Vary)

You don’t get to be 150 years young without reinventing yourself every once in a while. Throughout the years, we’ve explored new varieties. Changed our look. Rolled out ground coffee and single-serving Keurig K-Cup packs. But there are some things we’ll never change. For starters, the classic flavors inside our new bags remain untouched. All of our whole bean and ground varieties continue to be crafted using only high quality, 100% Arabica coffee. And all of our roasting is done at our own facility in Maryland, USA, under the expert supervision of master roasters. It’s what you look for in your coffee, and it’s what we’ll always deliver.

Eight O'Clock original ground coffeeEight O’Clock original ground coffee is a delicious blend of premium 100% Arabica coffee beans at a medium roast. Outstandingly smooth, yet full-bodied with a complex finish. It may be “original” but it is certainly not boring. The coffee is ground and bagged when it is still warm from the roasting and the one-way freshness valve keeps the flavor locked in. This is sold in a 42-ounce package.

Eight O'ClockAbout Eight O’Clock
Eight O’Clock started as a store brand way back in 1859 when the Great Atlantic & Pacific Company opened its doors and the whole bean coffee that would later become Eight O’Clock was among its signature products. By the 1930s Eight O’Clock reigned supreme as the #1 coffee brand in the US. During this time, one out of every four cups of coffee consumed was Eight O’Clock. Today this remains as America’s best-selling whole bean coffee and is the fourth largest national coffee brand in terms of volume.

Every time you brew a pot of Eight O’Clock coffee, you expect it to be great. And, you are not disappointed–because they put a century and a half of expertise into every bag.

8 o’clock coffee is the difference between a good life and a GREAT life! I like 8 o’clock coffee because when I think that life can’t possibly get any better I open my cabinet to see the bright red bags glistening in the fluorescent light and my heart skips a beat, my legs get a little weak, and my mouth begins to salivate like one of Pavlov’s dogs. It is like winning the lottery on a beautiful spring day. It is an example of all that is good in the world. The only thing that could make it better would be if one of the fine makers of this fabulous coffee came…

Makes fine coffee Sadly, after all these years, I have become something of a coffee snob, but not a gourmet-type snob, just a regular-joe snob. Would not give a quarter for a cup of Starbuck’s coffee, but I do like this stuff. I put five well rounded measuring device portions and eleven cups of water in each batch of coffee I make with Eight O’Clock ground coffee and it makes ten ups of coffee in the caraffe. It is strong and full bodied enough for me and I drink it all day. It does not get bitter when…

DECAF THAT DOESN’T TASTE LIKE DECAF EIGHT O’CLOCK – THE ORIGINAL DECAF GROUND COFFEEMy hubby has been starting his day with decaf coffee for over four years now. In 2010 he had heart surgery and needed to adjust his coffee and diet after that event. For a man who loves his pots of coffee, this was no easy task — until now.Finding a good decaf coffee is not easy, if not damn near impossible. Most decaf coffee blends taste like boiled cardboard or are tasteless and bitter. Thanks to AMAZON reviews and…
