GREAT BOOK!!!! I picked out this book randomly a few days ago when I was bored and just wanted to ready something. At first all I expected from this book was a good and interesting story, but when I continued reading, I found it to be SO much more then that. I was deeply touched by the bravery and strength of the girl, and I actually cried several times when some of the moments really hit me. Riveting. Must read. This book EXPOSES predators and abusers. I am the survivor of 21 years of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of someone who was supposed to love me and care for me, my own father. Tears are streaming down my face as I finished, 2 am on a Friday night, K.L.’s book. I started it at 10 pm- yes, I read the whole thing in 4 hours. It’s riveting. So many things make sense. What she went through I fear is so very much worse than what I did, but so many things make sense. EXCEPT OUR DAMN JUSTICE SYSTEM! Wake up, social services! Wake…

It opens your mind to why people are so intricate and individual. This book reminded me that we are all a product of our experiences and…
