Watching this makes me even more leery of dating BW. It’s like walking
through a minefield.

Angel n Disguise says:

Listen up ladies.

ArtofBliss says:

People of color are kings and queens! We are a formidable people! I love
black men and black women! We are beautiful, smart and a loving people. One
day, black men will honor black women and black women will honor black men!
We are all perfect just as we are!

Godkotti ThaEntertainer says:

I would date a mexican before I date a sister. Ain’t no hope for black
women who don’t even love they own kinky hair. Black women want to look
like white women so bad till I feel better just dating white women.

jay black says:

Yup this is true my ex wife was molested by her babysitter boyfriend and
beaten by her father I tried to love but she was selfish and had a victim
mentality. Got tired of and strayed. Black women who come from broken homes
and molested are not marriage material

shan rite says:

God said sex only in marriage, so now I know this dude is a complete fool
(though much that comes out of his mouth is ridiculous). Where is he coming
from with this and where is he trying to take us? Promiscuity is obviously
the biggest problem in the black community, leading to the majority of our
babies being born out of wedlock and in poverty. Nearly all of our problems
could be solved if we could reign it in, yet this fool is encouraging it?
And he thinks he’s better than the Jesses and Sharptons? He is a snake in
sheep’s skin. Another fool trying to lead our people astray. Faith got us
through slavery and segregation, so why are so many so willing and eager to
abandon faith now? This is the real problem.

TheAmberbutterfly says:

Damn, so according to Dr. Umar all men cheat? So we might as well have a
polygamist relationship. Can women have a number one or two :D?

TheMrsty72 says:

To all women, love yourself. Do not let your past define who you are as a
human. If you did something your are ashamed of, forgive yourself and move
on. If you were a victim of rape or abuse, forgive the perpetrator, not for
them but for yourself. If your husband cheats, leave if you no longer
trust him. With trust there is no marriage. Ladies, leave your man if he is
abusive. Over 90% black date within their race, it is okay to date outside
your race because love has no color.

canibus19 says:

I was always told if a black woman has never had a great relationship with
her father she’s not marriage material. This video pretty much confirms it.
In my mind, if I come across a black woman who has been abused, raped, or
had a bad relationship with her father she automatically becomes a
liability. Women who are liabilities get put in the short term category
(hit it & quit it, fwb, or just ignore). Call it what you want, but I
don’t have time to be stressing out over bs. At the end of the day their
past is THEIR PROBLEM. NOT MINE. The last thing I need is for some woman
to take all her past frustrations out on me because daddy abused her ass.
NOPE! Sorry!!! To the blk men that will date and cater to the abused black
women…they’re better men than me. lol

Robert Smothers III says:

Cameraman go home. Your drunk.

Fiftycalibur says:

Can your husband “rape” you?

dapras says:

WOW Umar is breaking it the hell down……This is targeted towards women,
but it applies to men as well..I felt this!!!!!!

Dr. Umar Johnson – “Message To All Black Women About Dating and
Relationships!”

A MUST VIEW FOR ALL BLACK WOMEN!

Kena Vance says:

Definitely some very very valid points. I appreciate Dr.Umar’s enthusiasm
and passion on this topic that so many to overlook or undermine. You may
not agree w/everything he says BUT there is food in his message so “Eat the
fish and spit out the bones”- as a mentor once said to me.

Angel n Disguise says:

Listen up ladies.

esmooth300 says:

12:06-12:30 A lot of them CHOSE to follow other females and trapped
themselves, made irresponsible decisions, and blame others for there
decision making.

Etta Knox says:

Why is everybody putting the black woman down. They are no different from
any other woman who is searching for a good man. however, most black men
are poorly educated, no jobs, cheaters, liers, users, not willing to
commit. Most black men have 2-3 or more baby mamas. They don’t take care of
their children. They think the GOV’t should do it. They will tell the girl
“go get on welfare.. They only want the WHITE WOMEN because they feel she
can take care of him better. The poor getto black men are nothing but
USERS. WHITE WOMEN RUNNNNNNNNN FROM THE GETTO BLACK MAN.

DoAsk DoTell says:

There are not ENOUGH black MEN to go around – even if you want to marry a
black man. They are in prison and on parole. The numbers just aren’t
there.

Raven Walker-Ellis says:

First and best thing sistas can do is stop handinf out cooch like fliers to
blackmen that dont love and respect them just wanna nut all up in the
cooch. Lots of good brothas out here but they get ignored because theyre
not fine not driving a fresh off the showroom floor not blingin and ballin
just got a good job with benefits and they dont have swag and not fucking a
shitload of females. Choose better.

xman8109 says:

This is a EYE OPENER. NOT JUST FOR WOMEN.

Jenny Whoa says:

This was…problematic for so many reasons. He says one good thing and then
13 things that are so terrible, you forget the one good piece of advice.
When I’ve heard him speak in the past on other topics, I have agreed with
him. This lecture is rife with patriarchy and misogynoir. He spoke in this
lecture with utter contempt for Black women. I’m seeing him in a very
different light, today.

Oni Gogeta says:

Very insightful video! I need the cameraman to FOCUS

Kevasha Carter says:

I am a WOMAN who is a SURVIVOR of MOLESTATION and I had a very very healthy
and loving MARRIAGE I thank god he didn’t have the thoughts of some of
these men have.. Funny how BLACK MEN want us BLACK WOMEN to stand by them
when the media bashes them…… Don’t believe me look at O J Simpson when
he needed the support of the black community and as soon as he thought his
stankin ass was in the clear he went right back to white women. BLACK MEN
ARE SO STUPID IT’S THE BLACK WOMAN WHO HELPS HIM TO GET WHERE HE NEEDS TO
BE AND AS SOON AS HE GETS TO WHERE HE NEEDS TO BE HE’S OFF WITH A WHITE
WOMAN, WHAT A GOT DAMN SELLOUT SOME BLACK MEN ARE
