welcome to the stage for her debut show sopie [Music] L we doing are we are we breting heads what if no [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I'm ignore the bottle of tequila in my hands that was bad timing feeling good I was definitely feeling a bit anxious the other day when we had our last rehearsal but now I'm just really really excited and like I don't know I'm feeling like the energy of the place and stuff like I used to come to gigs here all the time so it's like I've got some dirty memories of growing up in the bathrooms here so we're going to try and avoid that tonight which is why I put the tequila down but maybe after the show I'm very nervous I'm trying to keep the um impulse syndrome forance anxiety at Bay but I'm definitely really excited to like sort of see to just like this is my first show to like feed off the crowd like it's going to be weird cuz obviously I'm so used to playing online and then you don't get that instant feedback but to play like the songs and the shreds actually live and get that feedback from the crowd hopefully it's good to beback fingers crossed it's just I don't know it's going to be incredible it's going to be like a whole new experience so I'm definitely very ready very excited I'm very nervous cuz you're like so close to them that like you can see their face do you know what I mean it's like they're there you can make eye contact with them when you're far away like it kind of almost doesn't feel real whereas when you're here it's definitely like I don't know more in which is so cool it's such a cool experience but for someone with um social anxiety might be it's a little tough but we're going to we that's what this is about let's do some shots let go that's my first time doing it oh look the worst thing to happen would be to miss a que drop a stick the best thing to happen it's already happened I'm here that that like this is this that it it doesn't get better than this for me like this is something I've been striving for for so long and to be able to be doing it with Sophie is like the creme creme got to connect the terminal up so we can sell merch yeah do you want to hang your coat mate [Music] it though oh and got the plug for it do you know I spent about four or 5 days on this with a [ __ ] knife cutting it out spraying it waiting for it is dry but not quite dry cuz I was getting impatient and then sticking on and it wouldn't in here cuz it was still wet from the chrome paint oh what a melt power me right fits it [ __ ] fits okay oh please please [ __ ] hell are you ready Oh no you're joking need hang it up because I didn't obviously think of doing that when I created the [ __ ] thing but we're going to hang it off of the actual light fixtures themselves cuz why not why not no yes cuz it's it's been a long time coming to be she worked so hard to get here I wanted to do sensible subjects at University but uh and she was so good at school as well for all that so this was performance anxiety and imposter syndrome pretty much my entire life and it was that very feeling that encouraged me to write my debut album titled imposter syndrome but um through writing that album I loves so many lessons about myself and I went from a girl scared to play Live even in front of her own family to collaborating with some of my Heros and playing live in stadiums and Arenas around the world so thank you so much for supporting me and remember to never let impos syndrome stop you from being who you [Applause] deserve on the m r i want to be a sh R to a better place she she's we to see Sophie's first show ever is a privilege because that will go in the history books right I flew all the way from Israel to see Sophie just flew almost 2 hours came from dof Germany I flew here from Boston just to see Sophie flew all the way from Mexico just for disc concert I come from Wills unbelievable great set SM smed it I was like right I'm going to watch this gig I didn't know what what to think I was like is it going to be good is it going to be [ __ ] and it was [ __ ] class it was totally worth it one of the best concerts I've I've seen this year amazing show we had a lot of fun favorite part of the show um let's say everything the best part was actually Sophie's solo she brought the house down you know I've been a rock and roll uh fishing a for a long time and uh I used to watch Van Halen and go to his concerts back in the day and this was like better than a Van Halen concert that's all I can describe it you know I saw van Hal and do you know his solo with like uh you know all of his you know best stuff and I think Sophie was better today it was an amazing concert I recommend everybody go to it uh just you know see what she does with the guitar is amazing the fact that they added Avalanche into the set was unbelievable the thing that actually really surprised me is the solo that Sophie didn't play which was quite unbelievable because basically we had Christian playing the solo to Avalanche and I've just found out that basically he learned it and Sophie didn't and that's the reason why he played it and that was amazing to see another guitarist be able to play Sophie's Tunes at her level amazing it's comfortably numb the whole thing was just absolutely Bliss hearing Sophie do a massive solo and just totally blow everyone away the the way it was put together is like such a masterpiece of craftsmanship musicianship and the stage presence of both Sophie Chris and all the other guest vocalists and guitarists were amazing so so proud of Sophie like she deserves everything that she's got coming to her she's like the talent that that girl has got got Sophie you do not know how talented and how lovely of a human you are and you really do deserve the best of everything the show was absolutely amazing we had an absolute blast and like you are the most loveliest human it's some ra I've got tickets for a concert that's going to happen in Los Angeles so encourage everybody to come get the VIP tickets and you get to meet Sophie your and uh have a lot of fun I hope I can see you in Mexico Wy me your no the pain in all of their eyes right now I feel I feel like Kate Winslet it was honestly absolutely incredible like I'm so grateful for everyone that came down it it was just I loved having the VIP first cuz it really made me feel so much more comfortable I felt like there were friendly faces in the audience and I was worried when I got on stage that I might be hit with like a wave of anxiety but actually when I got on stage I felt so comfortable I felt like this is where I'm going to be this is what I'm going to be doing it was such like an amazing experience to know that that's how I felt and that's you know kind of what I meant to be doing I think it was very very nice and very full circle and I'm just so grateful for everyone that came out to support it's been amazing and I can't wait for more future shows as well maybe we'll do a little tour next year I don't know we'll see and then obviously we've got the whiskey any of you guys American based America based we have the whiskey in LA on the 16th of January so make sure you get your tickets to that and it's going to be an incredible night but yeah thank you so much much to everyone that came out tonight it honestly made it one of the most special memorable
