Peet’s Coffee Major Dickason’s Blend, Dark Roast, 32 Count Single Serve K-Cup Coffee Pods for Keurig Coffee Maker

A loyal customer of our original Berkeley store, retired army officer Key Dickason brought the idea for our most beloved blend to Mr. Peet in 1969, who was intrigued and worked with the local gourmand and coffee aficionado to refine it, sampling countless combinations before arriving at what is now our all-time bestseller, with a result so good, Alfred Peet decided naming it after his friend wasn’t enough — Dickason’s rich, complex blend also deserved a promotion from sergeant to major.

Product Features

  • WORLD BLEND: Conceived by Mr. Peet and his most discerning customer, Major Dickason’s Blend has become the coffee that epitomizes the rich, flavorful taste of Peet’s. Flavor notes: Incomparable world blend, rich, complex, and full-bodied

Coffee was delicious and bold in flavor but the pods consistently leaked grounds and made a mess of the machine and brewed cup. Tried about four or five 32-count units hoping it limited to a certain lot, but had the same problem randomly in each order. Never experienced that problem before with either the Peet’s House Blend or any other brand, and giving up on Major Dickason’s Blend in the future. Too bad, the coffee was the best I had ever tasted when not leaking grounds everywhere and…

Best By date was March 24 This product didn’t work in my Keurig. I got the “Oops” message. First time after many orders. So then you have to cut it open & put into reusable pod. If I was going to do that, I could have saved a lot of money by just buying coffee in bulk. Best By date was March 24, 2019 – It’s either a defective product or a knock-off being sold as the real thing. Boo!UPDATE: I changed my review after talking to Peet’s. They were apologetic, and immediately sent out a replacement. But…
