MEASURE YOUR ROTORS BEFORE YOU ORDER. Make sure you check your brakes before you order. I have a 2015 Explorer XLT with no special options. I had no reason to believe that I would have heavy duty brakes, but I did. Remove your wheel and measure the rotor diameter. If it is slightly less than 13” (12.8”), congratulations, you have standard brakes. If yours are slightly less than 14” (13.8”), you have premium brakes, and this kit won’t work for you. Direct OEM replacement. No modifications necessary. These rotors may be warped. Put these on didn’t realize there was a “break in” procedure. Apparently you have to drive 45mph, apply the breaks slowing down to 15mph, need to do this 5 times. Then you need to do it again at speeds of 35 to 5mph in order to mate the pads to the rotors. I tried doing this procedure after I had some miles on the 2012 Explorer but it didn’t work. I have a terrible vibration and it feels like a metal to metal feel of pad to rotor when applying the brakes,…
